A blog about my misadventures in learning to paint miniatures for my tabletop gaming hobby since 2010. I may never reach professional quality, but it'll be fun trying to do so.

Imperial Knight - The Amaranthine Freeblade
The Amaranth flower is a favorite of mine. It was once thought to grant immortality, but is now used as a cooking spice. Plus it's a name I'd love to give to my future daughter should I ever have kids.
I used Screamer Pink as the base coat. Then used Pink Horror for the edging highlights, then gave it several liberal coats of Bloodletter Red glaze. Once the glaze dried, I took a buffing cloth and lightly buffed it to get rid of the glazing streaks.
