Imperial Knight #2 base

Been working on a base for the Imperial Knight, using plasticard I-beams and GW barbed wire, painted to look rusted over.

Reclusiarch Incandael

Possibly my favorite GW model of all time, definitely one of Juan Diaz's best sculpts ever. It took me about 11 layers on the chest, skull, and other bone-colored parts. And in between each layer was a watered down glaze of sepia wash.

Remind me to never paint one of these again...

Been sitting on a friend's Reaver Titan for a while now.  Work and lack of time has kept me from really working on it until recently.  But I was able to get some work on it done.

Knight #2 almost done

Recreating Ulantor, the Red Doom from House Taranis. Gotta have at least ONE red one.

Waaagh! Puddnjaw

In celebration of the new ork codex, Warboss Puddnjaw.  Wanted to try my hand at conversion work. Used green stuff to open up the pose a bit with the right arm, swapped head, and a bigger lower blade with the Klaw. Added a choppa to the shoota and a clan symbol to denote he's part of the Bad Moon clan.

Discworld Luggage

Painted for a dear friend who shares a love of Terry Pratchett's Discworld. So I painted the Luggage for her.

Forge World Reaver Titan

Starting in a buddy's reaver Titan that's been sitting in my closet way too long.

For the legs, I started with a black undercoat.

1. Sprayed a mix of Liche Purple and Codex gray in a mottled random pattern, then did a mix of Tallarn Flesh and Tausept Ochre in a mottled pattern.

2. Then airbrushed a random mottled pattern of blue, red and purple inks

3. Drybrushing with Boltgun Metal to give it a metallic sheen without losing its hue underneath

4. Finally airbrushed two coats of Gryphonne Sepia to give it an aged brass appearance.

The Amaranthine - Complete

Finished this guy a while back but never got around to uploading photos.  The LED's were purchased from this wonderful site and if you plan on using LED's I highly, highly, recommend this site (http://poweredplay.net/)

Since GW stopped selling the Freeblade transfer decals, I had to freehand the emblems and flowery swirls on the shoulders.  I hate doing freehand.

Imperial Knight - The Amaranthine Freeblade

The Amaranth flower is a favorite of mine. It was once thought to grant immortality, but is now used as a cooking spice.  Plus it's a name I'd love to give to my future daughter should I ever have kids.

Tomb Kings Liche Priest

My first attempt at painting gold NMM by hand.  Not thrilled with the results but not entirely disappointed either. But it was definitely a learning experience for sure.

A project of pharaonic proportions.

My first finished Warhammer Fantasy model.  Painted this guy up in about 20 mins; 10 mins for the drybrushing and 10 mins for the shield detailing and layering.  Skeleton Warrior for my Tomb Kings army.  Now another bajillion of them to go.

Finally also started working on my Necrosphinx, eternally stuck as a WIP

Reaver Titan

Painting a Reaver Titan for a buddy of mine in the Air Force.  Painting it in a mix of colors of the armies he plays; Blood Angels, Grey Knights, and Minotaurs.

Crazy cows

Aside from my beloved Scions of Baal and Sons of Titan, I've recently been delving into the Minotaurs chapter.  These guys are rather psychotic and a whole lot of fun to paint and play.
