Aside from my beloved Scions of Baal and Sons of Titan, I've recently been delving into the Minotaurs chapter. These guys are rather psychotic and a whole lot of fun to paint and play.
A blog about my misadventures in learning to paint miniatures for my tabletop gaming hobby since 2010. I may never reach professional quality, but it'll be fun trying to do so.

Children of the Emperor! Death to His foes!
Been working on a few commission pieces as of late, one of which is the Primarch of the III Legion, Fulgrim. While I love painting challenging models, these new special characters for the Horus Heresy setting from Forge World are challenging indeed. The bases alone are a massive pain in the ass, and each model has so much detail that the surgical skills I acquired as an aspiring med student in another lifetime really helped out a lot.

"Just gotta get your mind right!" - Esme Weatherwax to Tiffany Aching
I love the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett. I daresay I like the series more than any other fantasy or satire series of novels; more than Wheel of Time, A Song of Ice and Fire, Warhammer, or even my beloved Drizzt Do'Urden series.
So when I painted Granny Weatherwax for a dear friend, I wanted to try and pour everything I could into it. I'm really happy with how it came out, although I can already see areas I need to improve upon.
